Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Umbraco Lead/Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Umbraco CMS, web development, and deployment. You will be responsible for developing and leading Umbraco based applications, mentoring team members, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality websites.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, customize, and maintain Umbraco 13 implementations, including integration with third-party systems and APIs.

Ensure adherence to best practices in Umbraco development, including code quality, performance optimization, and security.

Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to Umbraco projects.

Define and design the overall architecture for Umbraco-based solutions, ensuring alignment with business requirements and technical standards.

Ensure scalability, performance, and security of Umbraco implementations.

Provide technical guidance and leadership to development teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Manage project timelines, ensuring timely delivery of milestones and final products.

Provide the technical design and architecture of Umbraco solutions.

Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and translate them into technical requirements.

Conduct code reviews and ensure high standards of development and documentation.

Implement and maintain development workflows, including version control and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.

Create and maintain architectural documentation, including system diagrams, data flow diagrams, and technical specifications.

Lead and mentor a team of Umbraco developers, providing technical guidance and support.

Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.

Stay updated with the latest Umbraco trends, tools, and technologies, and incorporate them into project strategies.

Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices for Umbraco development.

Develop and implement custom Umbraco widgets to enhance website functionality and user experience.

 

Requirements

Minimum of 9 years of experience in web development, with at least 5 years of hands-on experience with Umbraco CMS.

Proven experience as an Umbraco developer with a strong understanding of Umbraco CMS.

In-depth knowledge of Umbraco 13, including its core features, APIs, Azure SQL, database migrations, and blob storage and customization options.

Proficiency in C#, .NET, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks like React, Angular

Experience with headless CMS concepts.

Experience with developing custom Umbraco widgets.

Experience in Umbraco Rest Api development.

Experience with SQL Server and other database technologies.

Knowledge of any one cloud platform (Azure, AWS, GCP).

Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).

Ability to inspire and guide a development team.

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to handle complex technical challenges.

Experience with Lit, Web Components, and Vite.

Strong knowledge of .NET Core, C#, MVC,  SQL Server and Razor.

Familiarity with StoryBook.

Experience with Umbraco 13,

Knowledge of Azure DevOps, YAML, artifacts, PowerShell, and Bicep.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
