Principal Product Designer- Digital Products

We are searching for an experienced Principal Product Designer who has a passion for creating products and services that create value for our clients remote in the USA. You are as passionate about creativity as you are about human centered design and human outcomes. You will work across every stage of the product lifecycle, and all stages of the product design process, from strategy to build, to drive better outcomes for our clients, their employees and their customers. 

You will help develop and grow our design team, ensuring we have the capabilities to meet our clients where they are going, not where they are today. You will approach the work you do and the way you work with intelligence, imagination, drive and humility.

What you will be doing

• Shape visions. Work with design, insights & data, product management, and engineering to explore new strategic areas for our clients, make sense of ambiguous challenges and turn this into impactful experience.
• Win and deliver award winning work. You will challenge our thinking, lead creative on pitches and create artifacts to help us credentialize our capabilities.
• Drive quality. Take a lead role on projects, setting the product design direction, running multi-disciplinary critiques and owning our creative reputation.
• Tackle high-impact problems. Partner with engineering and product management to ensure a high-quality implementation that meets both user, business and technology stakeholder needs.
• Confidently create design systems for clients, or just as easily work with and evolve existing design systems.
• Be a coach and design leader to our clients and our design teams; planning and leading collaborative sessions with cross-functional product teams, playing an advisory role to clients

Key skills and experience:

• A candidate must have 8+ years of experience with Digital Products having a hybrid designer with an outstanding portfolio showcasing a foundation in design research, user experience, interaction and visual design, and particular strengths in one or two of these areas.
• A strategic mindset and vision-driven approach where you consistently break down complex ideas into tangible design direction, aligned to product strategy and delivery. 
• Consistent track record of balancing a design lead role with getting your hands dirty in the work where needed.
• A strong systems thinker who understands how the pieces connect, continuously experimenting and improving human and business outcomes.
• A combination of experience in designing for mobile and web applications, as well as other product interfaces.
• An understanding of technical platforms and how to get things built.
• A growth mindset, curious and eager to explore diverse ideas and learning, and seeking new opportunities and challenges.
• A strong communicator both visually and verbally.
• Some travel required

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher- Preferred

Salary range: USD 110,000 to USD 140,000 depending on skill assessment and candidate LOCATION.
