What's this role about?

Zensar is looking for a high-impact Sales Director to join our growing team. This is a pure-hunting role for someone who thrives on opening new doors, shaping strategic opportunities, and driving meaningful revenue across major enterprise accounts. Reporting to the Global Director of E2E Business Development and the Managing Partner, you’ll own a new-business quota and orchestrate cross-functional teams to win large, complex deals.

  • A proven, consistent track record of meeting and exceeding revenue targets.
  • Demonstrated success closing $5M+ deals and navigating long, multi-stakeholder sales cycles.
  • A competitive, positive, resilient mindset—driven to win and hungry for growth.
  • Strong organizational discipline and the ability to operate with minimal oversight.
  • A highly goal-oriented approach, thriving in fast-moving environments with a strong bias for action.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build trust at the C-suite level.
  • Comfort operating in matrixed organizations and collaborating across multiple internal and external teams.
  • A genuine interest in Digital Transformation, ideally supported by hands-on experience in the space.

Here's how you'll contribute:

  • Partner with local and global teams to achieve revenue and margin targets.
  • Build and execute a focused go-to-market strategy across defined verticals, user cases, and target accounts.
  • Translate strategy into clear, measurable plans aligned to monthly, quarterly, and annual OKRs.
  • Leverage partners, channels, and resellers to expand reach and accelerate pipeline growth.
  • Collaborate with Product Management to conduct market research, refine offerings, and influence product roadmap decisions.
  • Work closely with Marketing to design and execute digital campaigns that support pipeline creation and brand visibility

We’re looking for someone with:

  • Must have IT Service Selling IT services in a "hunter" sales capacity with a demonstrated track record of new logo acquisition and account must possess decision maker/influencer contacts.
  • A proven and consistent track record exceeding revenue and order booking quotas.
  • Possess superior client facing skills; strong ability to articulate; and ability to deliver compelling presentations
  • Prior experience in business evaluations, as well as gathering/analyzing corporate and market information
  • Strong closing skills coupled with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into client business terms
  • Good understanding of the Onsite/Offshore delivery model and the associated pricing structures prevalent in the industry
  • Strong value proposition, proposal creation and deal-structuring skills & experience
  • Experience in crafting annuity contracts & proposals
  • Collaborating and working closely with globally distributed team members in multiple time zones
