Responsibilities:
WordPress Development & Architecture

• Architect scalable solutions that integrate seamlessly with third-party APIs and services.
• Configure WordPress environments (multisite, staging, production) and manage
deployments.
Technical Leadership:
• Lead technical planning, solution design, and code reviews.
• Advise on best practices for performance, security, SEO, accessibility, and
maintainability.
Front-End Engineering:
• Implement responsive, mobile-first UI/UX using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and

Back-End Engineering:
• Build scalable custom functionality using PHP, MySQL, WP-CLI, cron jobs, and REST
APIs.
• Optimize database structure, caching strategy, and hosting configurations.
Performance, Security & Optimization
• Conduct site audits and implement improvements: Core Web Vitals, caching, CDN
usage, and image optimization.
• Harden security and maintain compliance with industry standards (OWASP, GDPR, etc.).
• Troubleshoot complex issues and resolve production incidents efficiently.
Collaboration & Documentation
• Partner with stakeholders across marketing, content, and design teams to define
requirements.
• Prepare clear documentation, technical specs, and development guidelines.
• Provide ongoing site maintenance and support.
Required Qualifications:
• 5–7+ years of professional WordPress development experience.

• Background in agency environments or high-traffic / enterprise WordPress builds.
• Understanding of SEO, schema markup, and analytics implementation.
Soft Skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to lead initiatives independently while collaborating effectively with a team.
