Sr. Technology Consultant - Cloud Productivity

We are looking for a Senior Technology Strategy Consultant with a cloud productivity background who is interested providing thought leadership to help our clients drive their products and services in the market place.  We’re looking for leaders who are passionate about enterprise technologies and how they can be applied to create business value.

Responsibilities of the role:

As a Senior Technology Strategy Consultant, you will contribute to Indigo Slate’s success by leading consulting engagements with our clients to develop strategies and content that will help them market and sell enterprise data platform products and services (database, data warehouse, big data, business intelligence, cloud/hybrid data platform, etc.) to business and technical audiences.

As a successful consultant, you will:

  • Work closely within consulting project teams consisting of project managers, copywriters, designers, video producers, and other supporting subject matter experts as the technology and content strategy and content leader
  • Provide thought leadership and coaching to junior subject matter experts to leverage and further develop their acumen in data platform marketing to deliver projects
  • Translating client’s vision into deliverable specifications and content (Video, Deck, Document, Spreadsheet)
  • Research, review and edit deliverables for technical accuracy
  • Review and assess competing technologies, analyze findings and distill into recommended marketing strategies and tactics
  • Represent data platform professional (implementer and architect) point of view into market messages and deliverables
  • Keep up on trending technologies and announcements impacting data platform architectures, products, and services

Required Qualification and Experience:

We are looking for individuals with the following qualifications, skills, and experiences:

  • 3+ years relevant experience in IT project management, consulting, training, marketing and/or sales support with 5+ years cloud productivity professional (implementation, development, architecture, administration) background
  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills with a smart, assertive personality.
  • Ability to excel in a fast pace environment with working ranging from vision through execution.
  • Deep technical understanding of cloud technologies (private and public)
  • Translating marketing speak to technical speak and technical speak to marketing speak
  • Architecting and implementing core enterprise cloud productivity technologies and services (Microsoft, Google, Salesforce, etc..) Specifically looking for someone who understands the full stack - productivity client deployment and management, Collaboration, Messaging, and Unified Communications, Identity, Compliance, Governance and Security.
  • Mobile Device and Application Management (Microsoft EMS, VMware AirWatch)
  • Understanding of the entire technology product/service life cycle (sales to deploy to support), including relevant audiences, goals, processes
  • Story telling (written and oral)
