Engagement Manager

We are seeking our next change agent who will provide client leadership in advising clients in content and digital marketing strategies and solutions. As an Engagement Manager, you are responsible for providing project management expertise, manage internal & external communications proactively and follow project management processes consistency

The ideal candidate is highly motivated, collaborative, and outgoing with a strong bias towards client service and delight. You will have experience in content and digital marketing solutions with marketing or creative services agencies. You will provide strategic recommendations to client challenges, begin to effectively lead our engagement teams, and will be responsible for farming new business from existing clients.

Core Responsibilities:

Provide team leadership:

  • Help Engagement Coordinators on project management, risk management, communication skills, accountability

Build and grow client relationships:

  • Build and Grow Client Relationships(nurture)
  • Manage and follow-up on client meetings, develop status reports and present project status to client
  • Actively pursue new projects from existing client contacts through weekly client meetings/closeout meetings and engage Account Director as needed to pass on opportunities
  • Have a good understanding across Creative, Marketing, Business and Technology offerings by Indigo Slate (expectations: Understand clients' business and generate new ideas to enhance client performance)

Drives successful engagements: 

  • Run successful projects by following project management principles
  • Coordinate and participate in all internal and client-related meetings, keeping on top of client's projects and current status; responsible for related internal follow-up
  • Check deliverable materials and manage client approvals
  • Foster good communication by being prepared for meetings and sending appropriate detailed follow up to clients and internal teams
  • Work closely with internal creative, video, marketing and consulting teams to monitor and direct as necessary the day-to-day engagement flow.
  • QA content prior to handing off material to the client to ensure quality standards and expectations are met.
  • Coordinate work back schedules and budgets with relevant team members and project manage engagements while coordinating with delivery teams to ensure projects are of highest quality and completed on time.
  • Loop in Account Directors in scorecards to keep them informed about projects

Required Qualification and Experience:

  • Prior experience in project management and client relationships development within marketing, creative or technology solutions.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint 
  • Natural problem solver
  • Good verbal and written skills
  • Must possess strong interpersonal skills and a “can-do” attitude
  • ability to “multi-task” on a continual basis, and to manage multiple deadlines
  • Must be able to motivate and lead others in the development, direction and execution of marketing projects/campaigns
